Home Office Organizing

I was supposed to be blogging about the tv-unit but with some last-minute change of plans I will have to post about it on a later date. Instead I will be posting Mondays post – Home Office Organizing.

I have been waiting to organize this space as this is where I do my actual blogging and writing and all that stuff. My sister used to have a desk in her room and I had one in the guest bedroom (which used to be my “home office” but it just was not right… we still have our printer there though). My sister moved the desks to the living room when I was with the rest of our family in Spain.

The stare of my desk was very messy, both on the top and in the drawers. I took a very simple organizing approach and just took one drawer at a time. I emptied in on the desktop, cleaned the inside and removed the label. I then organized the drawer using what I could find around the house. When I finished with all the drawers I did my desktop.

I have a tendency to write down a lot of different info on scraps of paper. I wanted to incorporate this into my new system and therefore added a box in the same drawer as my notebooks. Whenever I write anything on paper I know where to put it. I am able to have everything organized!

To give everything I positive ending I am posting a picture of my darling Cosmo relaxing at the dining room table. She is so cute my heart melts.
