I want to introduce you all to our guest bedroom a.k.a dumping ground. This is the room that is used more as a storage room than anything else. This room has however had a huge transformation during the almost 4 years we have had this apartment. The first year we rented this room out to a student. The next three it has been used as a guest bedroom, home office and storage. It started quite boring with white room with white furniture, but then we painted in green in August 2012.

Different office lay-outs

Painting the guest room green
The main goal for this room is to stop using it as a dumping ground and being able to keep it clean and tidy. We rarely get guests and as we have moved the home office into the living room, I think we should find a better way to use this space when we do not have guests. This is actually quite a hard one since the bed takes up a lot of the space in the room. For now the objective is just to organize. I know this room needs some serious decorating! It’s quite unpolished and does not look finished. But for now I just cannot wait to get it organized.
I do like the green paint. It definitely makes it look like a completely different room. It will be fun to see how you transform it.
