This is a really old project! It’s just over 2 years old (wow!), and probably only thanksgiving craft I’ve made, at least the later half of my life.
It’s actually super easy and I really liked how it turned out. I just used scraps for this piece so its perfect if you have leftover fabric or craft paper.
Materials Needed:
- Canvas
- A photo of a pumpkin
- Black Marker
- Glue
- Autumn / Thanksgiving fabric or paper
- Optional: Paint
Process
- Print out a photo of a pumpkin
- Trace onto fabric and cut out
- Glue pumpkin onto canvas
- Make textured background using (white) paint
- Let the paint dry
- Write “thankful” with a marker under the pumpkin
- Use as a decoration
Hope you enjoyed my quick and simple tutorial. It’s also a decoration that can be changed each season or holiday, such as a snowman or snowflake during winter and a bunny or egg during easter.
What are you thankful for this Thanksgiving? Have you posted any simple thanksgiving craft on your blog? Id love to hear all about it, so leave a link in the comments.
