I love fresh pineapple! I love it so much I cannot eat the canned version anymore. When I was a recipe for fresh pineapple Margaritas on Gimme Some Oven, I knew I had to try it. Only one problem. I don’t have tequila. I do however have Vodka, so I made a modified version with this recipe. And this pineapple vodka tastes delicious!
Next time I will try to make a frozen version – just add ice.
Oh and if you do not drink, make it without the alcohol – it taste just as delicious and fresh!
Ingredients:
- ½ small fresh pineapple, in chunks
- 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
- 2-4 ounces vodka
- 1 ounce contreau
- 1 tbs honey
Directions:
- Add the pineapple, honey and in a blender. Blend until it had a smooth consistency – then blend some more.
- Add the mixture and the rest of the ingredients in a drink shaker and shake it like a crazy person (depending on how much you make you will have to mix multiple times
- Drink this deliciousness – then make some more…

Gonna have to make this for happy hour tonight! We have a little fresh pineapple left, might be able to make one serving to try for hubby. Thanks for sharing with Tasty Tuesdays.

I hope he liked it! I had some left-over at a dinner party and just poured it into shot glasses so everyone who did not want a drink could taste it 🙂
