As you may notice I am super late with last weeks sewing challenge. There is a really good reason, and I will tell you all about that in a bit. So the theme for the week was to sew something from the fabric you purchased last. The last fabric I bought was a couple of days before Christmas. The fabric was intended to used for a gift, however it just was not enough time to make it. Then I was going to sew it between Christmas and New Year, but you know how busy that gets. But when this challenge came up last week I knew I had to do my plan.
So I made the a t-shirt and boxers from the fabric and the perfect time to give this present was yesterday. This day is special because my boyfriend and I had a one year anniversary. So to not spoil the present, I decided I needed to post this today.
He was very happy with the present, however the t-shirt was too short! Oh no! Luckily I had just enough fabric to make it longer (however it was perpendicular to the grain, but oh well). I am so pleased with how it turned out. You can check out all the weeks here.
