Finally I get to post about last weeks challenge. This was a super fun challenge and definitely something I needed.
After my KonMari Challenge, specifically going through my closet I noticed that I was really lacking in the t-shirt department. So I looked through my fabric stash and found four fabrics I knew would work great for my new t-shirts. I started looking around the internet and ended up wanting to try 3 different t-shirt patterns.
Sorry about the snapchat images. Those are the only ones I have and my photographer aka sister is on vacation. I will update the pictures soon.
Reagan Raglan
The first one I wanted to try was the Reagan Raglan t-shirt from Bella Sunshine Designs. For the simple reason that this was the only one I could fit using my grey and blue striped fabric. I decided to go for blue raglan arms. This is probably my most favourite, I am allowed to say that right? I just realised the photo looks a big weird, but I swear it is a lot prettier in person.
Cloud 9 Tee
The second I wanted to try was the Cloud 9 Tee from Striped Swallow Designs. This is my least favourite, mostly because I made a mistake. I think I am going to redo the bottom of this one. I was foolish enough not to follow the instructions, so the bottom of the shirt did not hem nicely. Just to get it finished I just added a border strip, however the first one was too loose because I forgot to make the border smaller. The second I took inn too much so it looks a bit weird. I also added the border strip on the arms because that is what I prefer. Another thing I did not see was that the pattern goes a lot up in the sides, although I do not mind the scoop, my personal preference is that it is a bit longer in the sides.
Tonic Tee
The last pattern was the Tonic Tee by SBCC Patterns. I really love this one too! And that fabric is just gorgeous! I made the sleeves a bit longer on this pattern, just because I prefer it.
Reagan Raglan (again)
The last one I made was the Reagan Raglan t-shirt from Bella Sunshine Designs again. The fabric I used here was a lot stiffer than my first t-shirt so it does not sit as prettily, but I still think it looks good.
I would love if you left me a comment :)
