This was a heard challenge for me. I am not a heart person. I really left it to the last minute. Looking through my fabric stash I actually found a woven fabric that had some hearts in it. It was left over from some pillows I made for my little sisters bedroom makeover back in 2014. What could I make with this fabric? My eyes wondered and I looked down at my dog who was laying next to me. A doggy craft – perfect! The next obvious step was going to Pinterest and started searching. I then came across the cutest no-sew heart dog toy. Sold. You might wonder – how can you make a no-sew dog toy in a sewing challenge? I got creative.
I sewed on her initial! HA! I am such a genius. Its the cutest thing ever, but I am not sure she agrees yet. The picture is totally staged by the way. Carefully, I put the toy in her arms and I snapped a picture of her while she was sleeping. Maybe you are thinking that you are so observant and tell me “Trine, Cosmo is not sleeping, her eyes are open”. My crazy Cosmo sleeps with he eyes open a lot of the time. It is so freaky, especially when here eyes roll back and all you see is the white parts.
I would love if you left me a comment :)
