Another traditional Norwegian Christmas cookie, oat flarn, recipe on the blog today. This is actually a super easy recipe to make, the only problem is that you have to make sure to watch it in the oven as it burns easily (Id show you the photos but no…)
- 100 g butter
- 4 dl big oatmeal
- 2 dl sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- Melt butter
- Add oatmeal and stir
- Add the sugar, eggs, flour and baking powder and stir
- Take one big teaspoon of the batter and put on a baking sheet. There must me no more than 4×4 per sheet.
- Put them in on the top of the oven at 225 c ( 430 f ) for 5 minutes, keep a watch, they burn easily.
Optional: add a small piece of chocolate and nut on top when they come straight out of the oven.
Please note they are not hard when coming out of the oven, but they will harden short after.
